"My solo tour is in high demand in Germany and I told myself not to have any gigs before I have a brand new repertoire", Karel Gott admitted. While in Düsseldorf, he met producer and composer Dieter Falk who has cooperated, amongst others, Amy Grant, Katja Ebstein, Kenny Rogers, Patricia Kaas, Nazareth, Roger Chapman, Reba McEntire, Paul Young or Daliah Lavi. It was for Daliah Lavi’s album C´est la vie that Dieter Falk, a holder of 50 platinum and gold records, composed several songs. This made Karel Gott think that Dieter Falk is the right person to produce his new album. "We are also considering the idea of me cutting several duets with the big names of German music only for this album. The management teams of the singers whom I’d like to address are currently under way", Karel Gott added before departing for Düsseldorf. Karel Gott’s new album should be released in mid October 2009.

Karel Gott – First Bushido, then charity! Düsseldorf / Berlin (December 6) - Karel Gott is truly irrepressible! His grand tour I’ll Replay This Film in the Czech Republic had just been over and he went to work to Germany. On Saturday December 6 the singer even managed to attend two prestigious events in a row even though they took place hundreds kilometers apart! In the afternoon, Karel Gott appeared in a live program broadcast by RTL2 television under the title The Dome. Joined by the rapper Bushido, Karel Gott sang the present German hit Für Immer Jung to thousands audiences in a Düsseldorf hall. The enthusiastic ovations had hardly faded away and Karel Gott was making it off to the airport to fly to Berlin where the German public TV station ZDF televised the annual charity gala evening Ein Herz für Kinder during which celebrities, prominent personalities and the public donate money to help sick and at-risk children. The Czech Nightingale contributed EUR 5 000, which translates to approx. CZK 125 000. The total proceeds of the gala evening were EUR 15 105 639 (approx. CZK 375 million). On February 15, 2005, Karel Gott underwent a long-planned yet postponed hip joint surgery in Munich. The operation was completed without problems and Karel Gott feels fit, full of energy, and ready to go for the next months of this year that are already far too full. During our interview he was very happy about finally having some time to read and listen to music, activities for which he has not had much time in the past years indeed. It’s not known yet when he is going to be back in Prague.

On March 21, 2005, The Hotel Holiday Inn in Prague will witness an auction of pictures painted by the performers from the Three Musketeers musical (given at the Broadway theater, Prague). Because Karel Gott appears in this musical – thanks to a previously shot film recording - as the novelist Alexander Dumas he crated a painting entitled ‘Three Musketeers’ for the auction whose proceeds will go for charity. At the projected auction you can get not only the picture painted by Karel Gott himself but also another one in which Karel Gott is portrayed as Alexander Dumas. We are pleased to let you know that thanks to the assistance of Mgr. Radan Dolejš and the Universal Music publishing company we managed to secure the following CD and DVD with Karel Gott’s recordings:
1. A CD recorded by the Patrola band ‘Zpráva o stavu pražských hospod 2003’ (The 2003 Czech Pubs Status Report). On this CD, Karel Gott sings the song ‘Mým domovem ztichlá je putyka’.
2. A two-CDs set entitled ‘Karel Hašler 125’ and recorded by the Patrola. On these two CD’s, you can find Karel Gott’s rendering of the song ‘Princezna v hermelínu’.
3. A DVD entitled ‘Karel Hašler 125’ that was shot during a gala concert in Prague’s Lucerna music hall that commemorated the 125th anniversary of the birth of Karel Hašler, a song composer. On this CD, Karel Gott presents the song ‘Princezna v hermelínu’.

Although the fashion designer Beata Rajská spends the best part of her time in Prague yet she does not forget her hometown of Žďár nad Sázavou. On January 22, 2005, she organized the second year of the 'V žitě' ball (In The Rye) there. To help the Žďár locals to have a really good time she invited Karel Gott who was the brightest star of the event. She rewarded Karel Gott's performance with cuff links shaped as tomatoes (This is an allusion to her surname that means both 'tomato' and 'paradisiacal' in Czech.).
