For the conductor, band leader, composer and music arranger Václav Hybš the year 2010 is full of jubilees. On June 3, he will celebrate his 75th birthday, on September 22, he will conduct a gala concert in Prague’s Žofín to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his orchestra. Karel Gott will be one of the concert guests. Recently, a Věnceslava Dezortová book called Václav Hybš - Legenda populární hudby (Václav Hybš – The Pop Music Legend) has been published featuring, among others, photographs that have not been released before and Karel Gott’s contribution to the Václav Hybš theme.
